Kardemir increases prices for domestic market
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has increased prices in its new price list for the domestic market, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker increased its 12-32mm diameter rebar list price for its home market by TRY 122/tonne to TRY 2,885/t ($424/t) ex-works. In dollar terms, this has increased from the previous price of $406/t. The price of 12-18mm diameter round bar was also increased by TRY 122/t to TRY 2,902/t.
