Kardemir increases domestic steel prices
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has increased all of its domestic steel prices, Kallanish notes. Following the increases seen in scrap prices after 8 October – the date of Kardemir’s previous price list – the company was expected to reflect the hikes in its steel prices.
The steelmaker has increased its 12-32mm diameter rebar list price for its home market by TRY 85/tonne ($15) to TRY 2,450/t ($420/t) ex-works.
