Kardemir increases domestic finished steel prices
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has increased all of its domestic finished steel prices while keeping pig iron and semi-finished steel prices unchanged, Kallanish notes. Despite the lira price increases, dollar-denominated prices still remain lower compared to the previous price list on 3 October. This is due to the sharp depreciation of the lira this week.
