Kardemir increases domestic wire rod prices
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has increased its domestic wire rod prices, while keeping rebar, pig iron, billet and bloom prices steady, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker has kept its 12-32mm diameter rebar list price for its home market unchanged at TRY 2,495/tonne ($430/t) ex-works.
The price of 12-18mm dia round bar has been kept stable at TRY 2,512/t.
