Kardemir increases domestic finished steel prices
Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has kept semi-finished steel and pig iron prices stable while increasing its finished steel product prices. This comes amid increasing scrap prices and livelier finished steel demand in the Turkish domestic market, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker has increased its 12-32mm diameter rebar list price for its home market by TRY 147/tonne ($24) to TRY 2,677/t ($441/t) ex-works.
