Kardemir hikes rebar prices after scrap rebounds
Kardemir has increased its 12-32mm diameter rebar price for the domestic market to TRY 2,890/tonne ($477) ex-works. This brings it back to the level of Kardemir’s 10-May price hike.
Prices of round bar of 12-18mm dia have also been hiked by TRY 50/t to TRY 2,907/t, Kallanish learns from the integrated Turkish steelmaker.
Prices of 5.5-32mm dia wire rod, meanwhile, have been increased by TRY 110/t to TRY 3,210-3,290/t.
