Kardemir appoints new chairman
Kardemir has appointed Alparslan Bayraktar its new chairman, with Erdal Erdem becoming vice chairman.
The Turkish steelmaker recently announced it is gradually expanding its export destinations and won a tender for the supply of rail held by Turkish rail operator TCDD (see Kallanish passim).
