Kardemir foresees increased third-quarter sales
Kardemir plans to sell a higher share of semi-finished product than rebar again in the third quarter, as it did in Q1 and Q2. Overall Q3 sales are projected to rise by 10,000 tonnes compared to the Q2 target, to 563,000t.
The Turkish integrated steelmaker plans to keep rebar sales unchanged at 142,000t. Wire rod and sections, including rail, are expected to increase by 2,000t each to 139,000t and 109,000t respectively.
