Kardemir foresees fourth-quarter sales decline
Kardemir plans to sell a higher share of semi-finished product than rebar again in the fourth quarter, as it did in the previous quarters. Overall Q4 sales, however, are projected to decrease by -1.7% compared to the Q3 target, to 636,000 tonnes.
The Turkish integrated steelmaker plans to sell 161,000t of rebar, up 1,000t, and 123,000t of wire rod, unchanged on Q3. Sections, including rail, sales are expected to remain unchanged at 108,000t.
