Kardemir finds good rebar demand amid skyrocketing scrap
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm were each increased by TRY 725/tonne ($38.6/t) to TRY 13,075/t and TRY 13,165/t, respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 27 December.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 18% VAT.
