Kardemir fails to attract rebar buyers despite reduction
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for rebar on Thursday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each decreased by TRY 50/tonne ($1.5) to TRY 19,500/t and TRY 19,650/t, respectively, from Kardemir’s previous list on 24 July.
Prices quoted are ex-works and exclude 20% VAT.
