Kardemir enters electrode wire rod market
Turkey’s Kardemir reports that the production of S1, S2, SG2 and SG3 coils, which are used in electrode and welding wire manufacturing, has been successfully completed, Kallanish notes.
Kardemir says that in the coil market, with a total size of around 3.3 million tonnes, coils of these qualities suitable for the production of electrodes and welding wires have a 5% share. The first sales of these qualities have been generated in the commercial market.
