Kardemir recommissions revamped no.1 blast furnace
Kardemir says the blast furnace No. 1 revamp started last year has been successfully completed and the unit recommissioned ahead of schedule.
“While blast furnace no.1, which was the first blast furnace in Turkey, has reached an annual capacity of 450,000 tonnes according to previous studies, a 25% capacity increase is expected following the latest reline,” Kardemir says in a note seen by Kallanish.
