Kardemir closes billet, rebar sales
Kardemir closed its rebar and billet sales one day after issuing a new list with lower prices on Wednesday.
Kardemir sold approximately 16,000 tonnes of rebar and slightly over 50,000t of billet in a single day in its domestic market. While some market participants interpret the sales volumes as an improvement compared to previous sales, others find these levels still unsatisfactory.
