Kardemir almost doubles nine-month revenue
Kardemir almost doubled revenue in January-September, increasing it by 94.3% on-year to TRY 10.05 billion ($1.03 billion). This helped the firm post a net profit of TRY 2.13 billion compared to a net loss of TRY 396.4m a year ago. Ebitda margin rose to 31.4% from 12.5%, Kallanish notes.
Kardemir’s primary product sales fell 1.9% on-year to 1.74 million tonnes, while liquid steel output fell 0.4% to 1.93mt.
