Kardemir almost doubles nine-month revenue
Kardemir almost doubled its revenue on-year in January-September to TRY 19.6 billion ($1.05 billion). This helped the Turkish steelmaker post a net profit of TRY 2.39 billion compared to a profit of TRY 2.13 billion a year earlier. Ebitda rose 16.2% to TRY 3.66 billion, Kallanish notes.
Kardemir’s nine-month primary product sales fell 13% on-year to 1,517,462 tonnes, while liquid steel production fell 13.4% to 1,672,265t.
