Kardemir sells billet again
Turkey's benchmark BF-based mill Kardemir opened domestic sales for billet on Thursday at unchanged prices from the previous week, following a previous month-on-month $5/tonne price increase, Kallanish notes.
On 25 July, Kardemir's billet price was $540/t ex-works, excluding 20% VAT, for 150mm S235JR grade, while B420 grade was traded at $555/t ex-works, both unchanged from the 18 July price list.
