Jupiter sales rise, eyes fast-tracked iron ore IPO
Jupiter Mine’s Tshipi Borwa joint venture manganese ore mine saw sales rise 1% on-year in the second fiscal quarter through August to 898,107 tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Average cif price achieved for high grade lumpy ore was $4.67/dry metric tonne unit (dmtu) versus $5.52/dmtu last year, while average fob production cost rose to ZAR 36.13/dmtu ($2.11) from ZAR 32.30/dmtu.
