Italian scrap seen flattening in July
Italian scrap prices are forecast to remain stable next week after prices stopped rising this month due to uncertainty.
For material delivered in July, mills are proposing to maintain June values. Scrap producers, particularly those who sell the high grades such as mills and re-rollers, are pushing up their values again. This is leading to merchants, who are unable to pass on the increases, slowing their purchases.
