JSW Steel utilisation peaks at 96% in March
JSW Steel saw crude steel output rise 6% on-year and 2% on-quarter in the fourth fiscal quarter through March (FQ4) to 4.19 million tonnes. Capacity utilisation increased to 93% from 91% in the December quarter, while in March alone it was 96%.
Long products output increased 11% on-year and 13% on-quarter in FQ4 to 1.05mt, while flats output was up 4% on-year but flat on-quarter at 2.99mt.
