JSW Steel raises November production
JSW Steel reported a 7% on-year rise in India-based crude steel production in November to 2.14 million tonnes, with capacity utilisation at 90%, Kallanish notes.
The firm said in October that amid a dwindling global economy, India remains a bright spot for steel, with healthy economic momentum driven by both manufacturing and services (see Kallanish passim).
