JSW Steel’s June-quarter production drops due to shutdowns
Indian steelmaking major JSW Steel’s consolidated crude steel production fell by 1% year-on-year and 6% quarter-on-quarter to 6.35 million tonnes in the April-June fiscal quarter (Q1). The fall in production numbers was primarily due to planned maintenance shutdowns during the quarter, Kallanish notes.
