JSW sinks to loss, export expansion boosts shipments

Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW)’s external coking coal sales rose 9% on-year in 2020 to 6.3 million tonnes, while coke sales were up 24% to 3.6mt. The firm says it secured new seaborne markets that helped boost sales while European blast furnace operation was curbed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
