JSW sales decline amid increased costs
Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) reported a -1% on-quarter decline in coking coal sales in the second quarter to 1.43 million tonnes, while coke shipments fell -9% to 765,900t.
The average sales price of coking coal fell to PLN 690/tonne ($175) from PLN 711/t in Q1. Unit mining cash cost, however, increased to PLN 465/t from PLN 430/t.
