JSW recovers from pandemic, foresees over 17mt sales
The current second Covid-19 wave in India may have peaked, but the timing of the Indian economy reopening will follow a decline in cases, says JSW Steel. Indian government policies should nevertheless bring back robust growth. The firm is guiding for 17.4 million tonnes of standalone steel sales in the fiscal year through March 2022 (FY22), including 1.4mt from new Dolvi plant capacity.
