JSW Steel profit drops in June quarter
Indian steelmaking major JSW Steel’s consolidated net profit after tax fell by 64% year-on-year to INR 8.67 billion ($103.6 million) in the first fiscal quarter ending June (Q1). The drop was mainly due to weaker realisations in export markets, Kallanish notes.
