JSW longs output slumps in December quarter
JSW Steel reported a -1% on-year decline in flat products output in the third fiscal quarter through December 2019 to 2.86 million tonnes, with longs production down -14% to 890,000t. Crude steel output fell -5% to 4.02mt.
In the nine months through December crude steel output thus fell -3% on-year to 12.09mt, with flats and longs production down -3% and -4% respectively to 8.48mt and 2.76mt.
