JSW invests $60m for specialty steel production
JSW Steel invested up to INR 5 billion ($59.89 million) to establish production of its new coated specialty steel product, JSW Magsure, Kallanish notes.
Production capacity is 900,000 tonnes/year at JSW’s sites in Vasind, Maharashtra and Vijayanagar, Karnataka. The steelmaker expects the coated steel product will add revenue of INR 10 billion in the current year.
