JSW increases iron ore self-sufficiency with Karnataka mines

JSW Steel has commenced operations at its Tunga & Nandi iron ore mines in Karnataka for which it has already received statutory clearances. Their combined capacity is 710,000 tonnes/year. The Indian steelmaker expects to receive by fiscal-year-end clearance for the remaining thee mines in the state.
