JSW grows shipments, approves rights issue for expansion
JSW Steel increased standalone flat steel sales 1% on-year in the second fiscal quarter through September (FQ2) to 2.87 million tonnes, while longs shipments rose 4% to 890,000t. Semis sales, however, fell -17% to 200,000t. Sales to the automotive sector surged 36%, Kallanish notes.
