JSW fourth-quarter sales drop, signs Moravia Steel deal
Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW)’s external coking coal sales fell 8% on-year in the fourth quarter of 2021 to 1.63 million tonnes. Production dropped 2% to 2.75mt.
Coke sales meanwhile fell 7% to 880,000t, while output was down 4% to 890,000t.
Compared to Q3, coking coal and coke sales were down 2% but up 4%.
JSW’s average Q4 coking coal sales price surged 77% on-quarter in zloty terms and 70% in dollar terms, the firm says without providing values.…
