JSPL’s Angul plant capacity to double next year
Indian steelmaker Jindal Steel and Power (JSPL) will increase its capacity from 6 million tonnes/year to 12m t/y in the next fiscal year at its Angul steel plant, JSPL chairman Naveen Jindal told local media.
JSPL also expects Odisha-based Angul will become the world’s largest steel plant, with a capacity of 25m t/y by 2030, Kallanish notes.
