JSPL maintains output guidance, exports offset domestic slowdown
Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) saw steel production surge 31% on-year in April-May to 1.37 million tonnes despite the diversion of oxygen supply for medical use to help tackle the second Covid-19 wave in India. With the pandemic situation now improving, the firm has maintained its 8-8.5 million tonnes output guidance for the fiscal year through March 2022 (FY22).
