JSPL achieves record output, eyes government infrastructure spend
Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) recorded in the December quarter its highest-ever quarterly domestic steel production. Output rose 22% on-year to 1.61 million tonnes thanks to consistent performance across all locations, especially at the Angul operations.
Sales in the quarter rose 30% to 1.66mt, with exports soaring 213% to over 300,000t.
