Jindal Stainless posts record deliveries, revenue, announces expansion
Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) reported revenue of INR 3,841 crore ($515.74 million) in the first fiscal quarter through June. The company’s sales volume rose 168% on-year to 237,852 tonnes.
JSL’s profit after tax was INR 271 crores in Q1 and Ebitda rose 647% on-year to INR 580 crores. In the year-ago quarter, the company posted a loss of INR 86.50 crore, Kallanish notes.
