JMC to sell Energex
North American tubular company JMC Steel is looking to shed its Energex energy tubes division, Kallanish learns from ceo and executive chairman Barry Zekelman.
Energex, which includes the former Lakeside Steel and Stelpipe assets, produces oil country tubular goods and line pipe. It was created in 2012 as the result of JMC’s $58 million acquisition of Lakeside Steel.
