Jiyuan Steel commissions rebar mill
China's Jiyuan Iron & Steel in Henan Province has commissioned a small-diameter rebar rolling mill, Kallanish notes.
The project has the capacity to produce 500,000 tonnes/year of special steel bar. The main products have a diameter of 12-42mm and a length of 6 or 9 metres. A total of CNY 400 million ($60.84m) was invested into the project, of which CNY 29.42m was environmental investment.
