Jiugang begins blast furnace upgrade
A project to refurbish the No.7 blast furnace at China’s Hongxing Steel, part of Gansu Jiuquan Iron & Steel (Jiugang), has recently been launched. The design stage has been completed and the demolition of old equipment has begun, Kallanish notes.
