Jiugang Hongxing to implement blast furnace upgrades
China’s Jiugang Hongxing is planning to revamp its 1,800 cubic metre-blast furnace and achieve ultra-low emissions standards through the upgrade, Kallanish learns from a release through the Department of Industry and Information Technology, Gansu Province.
The time for overhaul is scheduled for May 2023 to March 2024, Kallanish notes. Meanwhile, the company will construct new converters but keep old ones in operation (see Kallanish 7 March).
