Jiugang Hongxing experiences net loss in first half
Gansu Jiugang Hongxing Iron & Steel experienced a net loss of CNY 82.89 million ($11.99m) in the first half of 2020, compared to a net profit of CNY 769m in H1 last year, Kallanish notes.
Among the listed Chinese steel companies that have issued semi-annual reports, Jiugang Hongxing is the only to make losses so far. The company’s operating income in H1 was CNY 15.826 billion, down -30.49% year-on-year.
