Jiugang Hongxing earnings slump alongside sales

In the first half of the year, Jiugang Hongxing, a leading steelmaker in northwestern China, reported falling turnover alongside sales. The company also registered losses mainly due to squeezing margins in the June quarter, Kallanish learns. In H1, the company produced 4.91 million tonnes of finished steel, down 8.1% on-year.
