JISCO begins high-purity ferrosilicon production
China’s Hongdian Alloy Steel Company, part of Jiuquan Iron & Steel Group (JISCO), has put its No.3 ferroalloy furnace into operation. It produced the first batch of high purity ferrosilicon on 22 May, Kallanish notes.
