Jinte deal lowers Xinjiang pipemaker's costs
Xinjiang Jinte Iron & Steel has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel Group's pipe subsidiary, Bagang Pipe last week. This can help Bagang Pipe save on the transportation cost of its raw material, the parent company says. Xinjiang Jinte Special Steel is a joint venture between Xinxing Ductile Pipe Group and Zhuzhou Jiufu River Special Steel and supplies narrow strip, Kallanish notes.
