Jinshenglan clarifies capacity quotas
Guangdong Jinshenglan Metallurgical Technology Co. has submitted the revised capacity replacement plan for its third 150-tonne electric arc furnace (EAF), and is waiting for final approval before construction begins, Kallanish notes.
Luoyang Luogang and Chengde Shengfeng Steel will provide 833,000 tonnes/year and 367,400 t/y of crude steel capacity quotas respectively. The plan only requires a net capacity reduction of 400 t/y. Jinshenglan expects to commission a …
