Jinnan Steel begins Yicheng plant construction
Shanxi-based Jinnan Steel started the construction of its new plant in Yicheng County on 7 October, with work estimated to last 15 months, Kallanish learns.
The new plant will house two 1,860 cubic metre-blast furnaces and two 150-tonne converters. According to its water consumption plan approval, the plant will reach 3.2 million tonnes/year of crude steel capacity.
