Jingye steps up interest in British Steel
As foreshadowed by Kallanish over a week ago, China’s Jingye Steel is ramping up its reported interest in acquiring troubled longs’ producer British Steel, UK media reports suggest.
The Hebei province-based steelmaker’s senior executives led by chairman Li Ganpo have visited British Steel sites in France and the UK this week, the reports say.
