Jindal Steel March quarter sales surpass 1 million tonnes
Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL)’s India-based sales grew 30% on-year in the fourth quarter of the 2015/16 fiscal year (FQ4), or three months through March, to 1.01 million tonnes. This was the first time JSPL exceeded 1mt of sales in one quarter. TMT rebar sales under the ‘Panther’ brand grew 38% to over 270,000t.
