Jindal Stainless posts rise in deliveries, profit
Jindal Stainless (JSL) saw its steel deliveries grow 8% on-quarter to 256,664 tonnes in the September quarter. Out of the total deliveries, domestic sales accounted for 77% and export deliveries were 23%, Kallanish notes.
An overall healthy demand environment post-second wave of covid pulled up sales volumes in the September quarter. The upward rally in prices of input materials continued unabated throughout the second quarter, says JSL.
