Jindal Shadeed September-quarter sales rise, output falls
Jindal Shadeed increased steel sales 9% on-year in the second fiscal quarter through September (FQ2) to 470,000 tonnes, although production fell -12% to 380,000t due to an annual maintenance shutdown in September. Rebar accounted for 230,000t of output, indicating some 150,000t of merchant billet was produced/sold in the quarter.
