Jindal Shadeed posts record shipments
Jindal Shadeed increased steel sales 24% on-year in the third fiscal quarter through December 2019 (FY3) to 570,000 tonnes, its highest-ever quarterly sales tonnage. Ebitda inched up 3% to $33 million.
Steel production rose 9% in the quarter to 500,000t. The Ebitda was also up 106% versus the September quarter on the back of cost savings and improved efficiencies, says Indian parent Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL).
